Presenters:Â
- Marcia Blum is a specialist for preschool special education at the Colorado Department of Education. She has worked in early childhood education for 40 years as a physical therapist, child find coordinator and assistive technology specialist. Prior to bringing her expertise to the state, she supported leadership in an inclusive preschool program that provided high-quality learning opportunities for diverse families where every child had membership and belonging in their classroom. In her current role, Marcia provides technical assistance that promotes high leverage practices in least restrictive environments for children in inclusive preschool settings in Colorado.
- Danae Davison is a Parent Advisor at PEAK. She has three children, one with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, who guides her passion for families in special education. You will hear from her in the second part of this presentation.
