PEAK Parent Center Conference on Inclusive Education

Date

Oct 13 - 14 2026

Time

All Day

The PEAK Parent Center Conference on Inclusive Education brings together educators, families, self-advocates, and professionals from across Colorado for two days of learning, connection, and shared growth.

Our 2026 conference, We Belong Here: From Presence to Participation, will explore how we move beyond presence to create schools and communities where everyone can meaningfully engage and contribute. At the heart of this work is a simple belief: students with disabilities need more than presence—they can be heard and meaningfully involved. Together, we can build the understanding and practical tools needed to create inclusive environments where all students thrive.

As a statewide nonprofit, we are excited to bring this conference to Western Colorado, expanding our reach and responding to what we’ve heard from communities in the region—a need for more opportunities to connect and learn. We’re especially looking forward to being there in person and connecting with the community. We can’t wait to meet you!

The conference will include inspiring keynote speakers, practical breakout sessions, and a vendor fair featuring valuable resources and self-advocate entrepreneurs.

We are accepting proposals for breakout sessions, with vendor registration opening soon. We also welcome opportunities to partner with us as sponsors in supporting this event and bringing it to life. (If you are interested in partnering please email us at conference@peakparent.org.)

As we finalize additional conference details, including registration, we encourage you to stay connected through our website, social media, and newsletter for the latest updates. We will see you October 13–14th, 2026, in Grand Junction, Colorado, for meaningful learning and connection!
