Session 4 – Getting the Most out of Special Education

Presenters:

  • Danae Davison is a Parent Advisor at PEAK. She has three children, one with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, who guides her passion for families in special education. You will hear from her in the second part of this presentation.
  • Ben Riepe is a member of the Positive Early Learning Experiences (PELE) Center at the University of Denver. He is on staff at the National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations, and Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center. Ben’s 13 years of experience as a Head Start teacher, coach, and trainer informs his work to support systems to implement inclusive policies and practices, so every family and child feel they belong.
