PEAK Parent Center is turning 30 this year!
PEAK is honored to have been a part of change and inclusion across the State of Colorado for three decades. We are inspired by the many families and self-advocates we have encountered, their stories of success, and the inclusive lives that children and youth with disabilities get to live as a result of our work.
Please join us on September 24, 2016 from 6-9 pm at the Gold Room in downtown Colorado Springs as we host our celebration and fundraising event: An Inclusive Tomorrow Starts Today: Celebrating 30 Years of PEAK Parent Center. We will be joined by guest speaker Jonathan Mooney plus emcee Bart Bedsole and the fun-filled evening will include a silent auction, heavy hors D’oeuvres, interactive mission building, live music, and more! You can view full event details here.

About Jonathan Mooney, Featured Guest Speaker
A long time friend and colleague of PEAK, Jonathan Mooney is a writer and activist with dyslexia who did not learn to read until he was 12 years old. He went on to graduate with honors from Brown University with a degree in English Literature. Here is what Jonathan has to say about PEAK:
“I believe in PEAK Parent Center: they don’t fix; they don’t patholgize or patronize. They empower. Unlike others mired in deficits, disorders, and disability, PEAK is the foremost leader in celebrating disability as a valued element of our culture.”
Can’t join us on September 24? Donate to PEAK and help ensure every child with a disability has a future filled with access, equality, opportunity and inclusion!
