Families as Faculty Program

PEAK Parent Center and UCCS invite 10–12 families of children with disabilities who have completed or are currently enrolled in Early Childhood Education to join the Colorado Springs Families as Faculty program. Your real-life experiences are powerful. By sharing them, you’ll help future early childhood educators understand the needs, strengths, and potential of all children.
WHATS INVOLVED:

• A 1-hour virtual interview with UCCS students in their second year of Early Childhood Education
• Students will listen, ask questions, and learn directly from you
• Your voice will help guide how they work with children and families in the future 
• A $50 thank you gift provided to each family that participates
