Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR)’s Cultural Development & Wellness Center exists to meet the needs of Aurora’s increasingly diverse population which includes refugees and immigrants from around the world. They recognize the unique challenges and needs of people navigating a new culture, learning a new language, and trying to access care here in Colorado. With a cultural curator mindset, Colorado Asian Pacific United (CAPU) engages in community organizing, coalition building, and various advocacy-driven initiatives to uncover and celebrate local AANHPI histories through research, oral story collection, place-making, art, and curriculum development.
Colorado Asian Culture & Education Network (CACEN)
Colorado Asian Culture and Education Network (CACEN - pronounced "Kay-Sen") is a 501c3 organization founded in 2009. The organization’s mission is to elevate Colorado's Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities and address inequities through cultural exchange and education.
The Denver Asian American Pacific Islander Commission (DAAPIC)
The Denver Asian American Pacific Islander Commission (DAAPIC) serves as a support liaison and facilitator between the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community in Denver, the Agency for Human Rights and Community Partnerships and the office of the Mayor of Denver. It is the Commission's objective to act as catalyst, educator, collective voice, and respond to issues and/or advocate based on community assessment of need, and create awareness and visibility of Asian American Pacific Islander community.

National Black Deaf Association (NBDA)
The National Black Deaf Advocates (NBDA) is the official advocacy organization for thousands of Black Deaf and hard of hearing people in the United States. Black deaf leaders were concerned that Black Deaf and hard of hearing Americans are not adequately represented in leadership and policy decision-making activities affecting their lives so they established NBDA in 1982.
Ramp Your Voice!
Ramp Your Voice! is an organization focused on promoting self-advocacy and strengthening empowerment among disabled people. Being a Disability Rights Consultant, Writer, & Activist, Vilissa Thompson has the opportunity to be a prominent leader and expert in addressing and educating the public and political figures about the plight of disabled people, especially Black women and femmes with disabilities.
The HBCU Disability Consortium
This organization is composed of a group of colleagues working in disability services at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Colleges and Universities (PBCUs). The project was set up as a partnership between the University of the District of Columbia, Howard University, and Syracuse University, and the Association on Higher Education And Disability (AHEAD). The project is now permanently based at AHEAD.

NBDC is a organization that was created in response to the need for Blacks with Disabilities to organize and assist each other around issues of mutual concern and use our collective strength to address disability issues in both the greater Black community and the greater disability community. This organization's vision to be a source of change for Black disabled people and their families.
The Steve Fund
The Steve Fund is the nation’s leading organization focused on supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of young people of color. The Steve Fund works with colleges and universities, non-profits, researchers, mental health experts, families, and young people to promote programs and strategies that build understanding and assistance for the mental and emotional health of the nation’s young people of color.
