Join PEAK Parent Center and the Arc of Weld County for the Life Launch Transition Series.  

You can attend one, two or all three of the workshops - each covers a different aspect of transition and is specially designed with interactive learning opportunities for families and their young people with disabilities to attend together.  Come to learn new things and to work on a solid plan for the future.  Professionals are also welcome and encouraged to attend!

The Road to Careers and Employment will be on Saturday April 13, 2019

The focus of workshop 2 will be:

• getting jobs
• developing a career based on what you like to do and what you are good at doing
• building more knowledge and skills after you leave high school in college or post-secondary training
• finding the right agencies to help you

Representatives from your local vocational rehabilitation agency and workforce centers will be available at the workshop; they will let you know what they can do to help and how to get their services.
