Location
This training is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the principles of an Individualized Education Program (IEP) for a student receiving special education services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Participants will gain the following knowledge:
Requirements for the assignment of an Educational Surrogate Parent (ESP) for students in need.
Understanding of the special education process and how to be involved.
What to expect in the IEP process
How to participate in the educational planning for a student.
