Adam's Camp Fall Early Start
Early Start is an intensive, multidisciplinary therapy program offered in the Denver metro area for children ages 1-preschool with developmental delays including, but not limited to: autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome.
Program Highlights:
- 3 hours of multidisciplinary therapy daily, across 5 days in the Denver metro area
- Each child has an individualized goal-centered treatment plan that all therapists adhere to
- Teams of 4 pediatric therapists and 1 volunteer work exclusively with 4 children
- Parents are encouraged to observe and participate directly in intervention strategies; additionally, specialized presenters are brought in to provide information and support discussions about issues that matter most to families with children with special needs
- Sibling programs provide an opportunity for siblings to have a special sense of belonging and meaningful opportunities to connect with one another
- Sessions culminate with individualized parent conferences with the team of therapists who worked with your child
- A comprehensive clinical report is provided for parents to take home; complete with photos of campers and their goals in action, the digital report outlines the goals set up for the week, interventions, successes and recommendations for home, school, year-round therapists, pediatricians and other professionals
Early Start is ideal for:
- Newly diagnosed infants and toddlers who are on a waiting list for services
- Children preparing to transition into preschool
- Children who are on the threshold of reaching a developmental milestone
- All children prior to their annual Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP)
- Parents who want a fresh perspective and new techniques to help their child be successful
