PEAK Parent Center is participating in Colorado Gives Day on December 8, 2015, and we need your help to meet our $5,000 fundraising goal!
Help families that call on PEAK Parent Center by donating on Colorado Gives Day. PEAK improves the lives of families of children with disabilities by walking with them and guiding them through challenges they face when accessing education and community services. Through PEAK’s work, families and schools increase expectations and provide opportunities for students with disabilities to aim for high achievement standards!
Stories of Success Happen Each Day at PEAK and Your Donation Will Be Put Right to Work!
Just last week, a mom contacted one of our Parent Advisors about frustrations with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process. The mom explained that she had been in an IEP meeting for her son and was confused and miserable. She could tell things were very wrong, but she did not have the knowledge to understand why. After talking to a PEAK Parent Advisor, she was able to navigate the process with more confidence and find a positive solution for her son. Each $35 donation provides an hour of parent advising to help parents like this mom. Your donation will turn a struggle into positive change!
A donation of $35 provides one hour of Parent Advising, $75 gives the gift of an intensive Individualized Education Program (IEP) review with a family, and $300 provides an IEP or advocacy workshop for families. Or, give $30 for 30 in honor of PEAK turning 30! Pre-schedule your donation to help families make sure their child is fully included in the classroom and all walks of life!
